Enjoy a sparkling evening of song in the company of some of operetta's
best loved characters, the talented RSNO and RSNO Chorus. Laughter and
toe-tapping is guaranteed!
Enjoy show-stopping tunes from the best of the duo's fourteen comic
opera collaborations and then sail off to the Cornish coast for an
abridged concert performance of The Pirates of Penzance.
This whimsical tale of a group of pirates (who are far too noble,
sensitive and compassionate for their grim trade) is peppered with
unforgettable melodies and tongue-twisting songs, including, of course,
the oft-imitated, "I am the very model of a modern Major-General".
Selections from The Mikado, Iolanthe, Ruddigore, Princess Ida, The Gondoliers and The Yeomen of the Guard. Plus an abridged performance of The Pirates of Penzance.
