An evening of ever-changing musical pictures as Glazunov’s fantasy of stormy seas and shifting oceans gives way to the most beautiful and popular of violin concertos, Bruch’s G Minor. Leopold Stokowski’s brilliant and spectacular arrangement of Pictures at an Exhibition follows. And who better to conduct it than José Serebrier, who watched, learned and conducted at Stokowski’s side.
