Behold the Sea The mighty forces of the RSNO Chorus, Sir Thomas Allen, Christine Goerke, Stéphane Denève and the Orchestra unite to unleash the power and strength of the ocean in Vaughan Williams’ romantic choral symphony, taking inspiration and text from poems by Walt Whitman. This huge work is preceded by some of the most sublime music ever written: Wagner’s orchestral music from Tristan und Isolde.
