...that there was an advert in the Herald today for the upcoming concerts on Friday and Saturday. Nothing wrong with that...No no no! That's very good in fact...what I have a bone to pick about is the fact that it was advertised purely as Eroica....NO and I repeat NO mention of the Nevsky, or the fact that the chorus are even performing. This upsets me....please tell me its not true. That it's all just a vicious lie!!!!

Never mind that...! I heard on Radio 3 that they're going to be broadcasting live from the Usher Hall on Friday night. My! What'll the RSNO's media partners at Classic FM say?!
If it is true it's certainly a disservice to the Chorus not to mention their part in the concert but I would suggest that the Eroica is probably the more likely of the two works to put bums on seats. There is a bright side, of course...the presence of the Chorus will be a pleasant surprise to anyone turning up not expecting them to be performing...!

Indeed people will be pleasantly surprised when they open their programmes and see the Nevsky. I must say I'm a fan and that's what would get me to the concert. But I have some sort of bizarre love of choral music so nevermind me.
Indeed we will be on the radio....how exciting? When do we get our TV appearance. The Songs of Praise wasn't enough!!!! Han
