What has happened to the leader of the RSNO? I saw his position advertised yesterday in the Telegraph. I hope he is not retiring due to ill health? Can someone from Admin please let RSNO supporters know?

Well now you know.
Edwin has been an outstanding leader for the orchestra and it is with much regret that I see him depart. He will be a hard act to follow and the selection of the right successor will be crucial to the future of the orchestra.
I wish Edwin and Rosalin every success and happiness in their new life down-under.
What is it about RSNO leaders and Australia? Sam Bor retired there and Thomas Matthews (remember him?) went to Tasmania to conduct. Perhaps it's just about putting the maximum distance etc etc !!
