Due to work, children, more work, more children, the last time I had any serious connection with the band was when they were still in residence in the City Halls in Glasgow (a brilliant refurbishment!) many years ago. At that time the players were in the habit of mingling in the bar for a drink (especially the brass from what I remember!!!) and some gossip at the interval and after the concert. Is this still the case or, like more and more of us, has the social side gone and it's a case of lets get the job done and go home?

Well didn't the Station Bar used to be the place? It was always a bit smoky for me - is it better now there's none of that allowed?
