Hey, hope the orchestra enjoys their tour - I'm loving the blog, great idea to keep us all informed.
It'd be great a joint orchestra and chorus tour... even if it's just to London! I think they have never been anywhere outside scotland together!

It's a long time ago, but the Chorus and Orchestra performed Gerontius at the London Proms in (I think)1974.
To the ladies of the Chorus, the chant from the prommers was "Will the real Moira Anderson please stand up!"
