How much can I not wait til the above concert! Sounds amazing! I mean I know it wont be to everyones taste but if the RSNO are trying to bring in a younger and more diverse audience then a round of applause for effort!

Looks like an interesting series of concerts overall - particularly the Concerto for Turntables. I'm a child of the NES era so I don't know if many of the themes in the Video Games concert will be familiar to me but I might wander in all the same. Definitely agree that it will be a great help in putting younger bums on seats at classical concerts though, and it's refreshing to see the normally strictly commercial RSNO coming off the beaten track for a change - that should keep their pals from City Halls on their toes!

Definitely not coming to the Elvis Costello one though, £35 is just too dear for my wallet. That'll probably be my loss, but I can live with it...!

I am so so so excited about both the Video Games Live and also the Elvis Costello.

I do love playing video games , but not as much as most young adults in the West of Scotland do, and I certainly didn't think I would appreciate them invading my beloved concert hall. However, once I followed the link and watched the trailer and was hooked. It looks amazing and bravo to the RSNO to taking on this concert!

Also, Elvis Costello with the RSNO....what is there not to love about that?!

Hi there,

On behalf of the RSNO team, I'd just like to point you in the direction of the new orchestra+ Page on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/pages/orchestra/17044683031

Once you log in to the group you can visit the Video Games Live Event and by RSVPing and posting on the wall you could win a pair of tickets to the concert.

The same applies to the Elvis Costello and Concerto for Turntables events.

And if you are able to invite a few mates onto the Page please do so - the more the merrier!

Cheers,

Jon
