I just have to say a huge well done to our lovely maestro, Denève, who did a fantastic job with the Carmen production at Glynbourne. I was there last night, and you could tell the crowd were extremely pleased with Denève's handling of the piece. You could hear things in the orchestra were doing that just screamed Stéphane!!

I'm also pretty sure that sitting along to the left of me was none other than Simon Woods, the RSNO Chief Executive....but I wasn't 100%!

Anyway, BRAVO Stéphane Denève!!!!

Yes Han, you are correct - indeed it was me! It was a great show, and I agree with you totally that Stephane was in fine form!
