None of the five selections you have chosen is suitable for a Scottish national anthem. You have overlooked James Farrer's "Spirit of Scotland," a rousing tune suitable for a national anthem. Alan was right. An anthem with brass playing it is more likely to than an orchestra, but the "Spirit of Scotland" has words and can easily be sung. It has already been recorded by Mr. Farrer's singing group. A tape of "A Spriti of Scotland" wa sent to the First Minister and should be available to you. Please look it up and reconsider.
