Cello Extra Work Application close Mon 14 October 2024
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will be holding cello ‘extra’ auditions for prospective self-employed cellists who are interested in working with the RSNO on a freelance basis.
Auditions will take place in Glasgow on Monday 28 October 2024. Auditions will be one round, behind a screen, with no accompanist provided or required.
Candidates will be asked to prepare a movement of a Bach Suite or exposition of first movement of either Haydn Concert, and a small selection of excerpts.
Excerpts and full audition details including times and venue will be provided to candidates after receiving your application.
The panel will consist of members of the RSNO cello section.
