Tuba, Euphonium and Cimbasso Extra Work Application close Mon 14 October 2024
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will be holding tuba, euphonium and cimbasso ‘extra’ auditions for prospective self-employed musicians who are interested in working with the RSNO on a freelance basis.
Auditions will take place in Glasgow on Tuesday 29 October 2024. Auditions will be one round and behind a screen.
Candidates will be asked to prepare a small selection of excerpts for the instrument(s) for which they are auditioning. Sight reading may also be given. Please specify for which instruments you are applying. You may apply for multiple instruments. If you are applying for cimbasso, you must also do a tuba audition.
Excerpts and full audition details including times and venue will be provided to candidates after receiving your application.
The panel will consist of members of the RSNO brass section.
