ScotRail and the RSNO
ScotRail re-launches environmentally friendly partnership with Scotland’s National Orchestra
Over the past seven years, the Orchestra’s partnership with ScotRail – RSNO’s Official Transport Provider – has provided vital transport for RSNO musicians and staff across the country, promoted sustainable travel to a wide audience, and opened doors for ScotRail staff to experience live classical music with their national orchestra. We are delighted to announce a new 12-month partnership which will continue to provide economic, logistical and environmental benefits to the RSNO, which has one of the busiest domestic touring schedules of all the UK’s major arts organisations.
ScotRail is Scotland’s national rail operator, delivering 86 million passenger journeys each year. Providing a safe, reliable, value-for-money service, as well as continuous improvement to performance levels remains at the top of ScotRail’s agenda. The synergies between the RSNO and ScotRail organisations are apparent – manifested in a shared remit to serve the Scottish nation. Our customers and our audience are at the heart of everything we do, alongside a commitment to work towards a fairer, healthier, stronger and greener Scotland.
ScotRail is the headline sponsor for the RSNO’s hugely popular Christmas family concerts in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen. In addition, the RSNO works in collaboration with ScotRail to promote environmental responsibility and widen access to the arts for young people, through ScotRail’s Kids Go Free and RSNO’s Under 16 offers.
