Head of Development

Applications are invited for the position of Head of Development with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is one of the Scottish Government’s designated National Companies, one of Europe’s leading symphony orchestras, and an arts organisation with a long and prestigious history.

We are seeking a creative and inspiring individual to join us. Working collaboratively with colleagues from across departments, the Head of Development is responsible for creating and developing interesting and innovative projects for presentation to funders (and specifically corporate partnerships). The post holder manages the RSNO’s Development Team including: Head of Major Gifts, Development Manager (Trusts and Foundations) and Development Manager (Membership and Subscribers).

The successful applicant will be able to evidence excellent management, fundraising, communication and partnership building skills.

Appointment Details

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Commensurate with experience
