Kazushi Ono (Conductor)
Described as "one of the most fascinating musical minds of our era" and "a phenomenon" (Le Figaro), Kazushi Ono has held the position of Principal Conductor of the Opéra National de Lyon since the start of the 2008/09 season and is also Conductor Laureate of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini.
Saleem Abboud Ashkar (Piano)
Saleem Abboud Ashkar made his New York Carnegie Hall debut at the age of 22 and has since worked with many of the World’s leading orchestras. He toured extensively with Riccardo Chailly and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra performing Mendelssohn’s First Piano Concerto, including appearances at the Proms and Lucerne Festivals, in a tour celebrating the bicentennial anniversary of the composer's birth and Chailly has re-invited Saleem for concerts and to record with him for Decca in the 12/13 season.
