Coronavirus / COVID-19

The safety of our audience, supporters, musicians and staff is of the utmost importance to the RSNO. In response to the unprecedented situation created by the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in line with advice from the Scottish Government, all RSNO public performances and workshops have been cancelled or postponed until further notice. Initially this period will cover all public events until Wednesday 29 April 2020, but we will continue to review this over the coming weeks.

Refunds and donations

Ticketholders will automatically be refunded the cost of their tickets by the original payment method. Please note, you do not need to return your tickets or contact the Box Office to enable your refund. A large number of events are being cancelled at this time, so we ask you not to contact the Box Office and please bear with them as they work through the refund process at this challenging time. If you would like to donate the cost of your ticket to the RSNO, please click on the donate button to the right.

Forthcoming concerts

At this time, concerts from 30 April 2020 are scheduled to continue. As a national company we are in communication with the Scottish Government and are paying close attention to all advice given. We will continue to provide updates as we receive new information throughout this rapidly evolving situation. We appreciate your understanding and wish you good health. We look forward to welcoming you to an RSNO concert soon.

Join us online

Music has the power to bring people together and whilst we are sad we cannot perform live for you in your local concert hall at this time, we are excited to connect with you online. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing videos of performances, articles, playlists and challenges for you to enjoy and engage with from the comfort of your home. Join us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Spotify. We look forward to seeing you there!

Donate Your Ticket

The RSNO is a registered charity, and, with many others, will be severely impacted by this crisis, which is touching the lives of each and every one of us. The support of our audiences and supporters continues to inspire and uplift us, now more than ever. We would like to take this opportunity to send our support and best wishes to you and your families during this challenging time.

In common with many of our colleagues around the country, we have been forced to cancel concerts and events. Ticket sales count for a large part of our income therefore these cancellations will have a considerable financial impact. We are therefore asking you to consider supporting the RSNO at this very difficult time, by donating the cost of your tickets. We realise for many, this may not be possible, however if you are able to consider this request, we would be extremely grateful for your generosity.
