16 to 18-year olds across Scotland have just days left to apply for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra two-day intensive work experience: RSNO Takeover.
RSNO Takeover 2020 is set to take place on the 15 and 16 June 2020 during which time 50 selected young people will work in departments behind the scenes of Scotland’s National Orchestra, and applications close this Friday December 6.
Young people aged 16, 17 or 18 at the time of Takeover 2020 in June will have the opportunity to work in arts marketing, press and PR, development (fundraising), learning and engagement, conducting and performing as a musician.
Bill Chandler, Director of Concerts and Engagement at RSNO, said: “This is a unique work experience programme because this gives young people practical opportunities to hone their skills in the arts field within a National performing company.
“Takeover has been very successful in the past and attracts a lot of interest, and we want to spread the message far and wide so young people across Scotland have the opportunity to apply.
“I urge anyone who’s interested or knows a young person who would benefit from RSNO Takeover 2020, to please apply as soon as you can because applications close this Friday!”
