In the week of Valentine’s Day, the RSNO is joined by Music Director Thomas Søndergård and pianist Simon Trpčeski for some of the most beautiful and romantic music – Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No2. It’s the perfect concert for date night!

The RSNO’s beloved celebration of the film music of John Williams is back! From Star Wars to Indiana Jones, Jaws to Superman, John Williams’ scores have given us some of the greatest cinematic adventures of our lives. Fun for the whole family, join the Orchestra as they perform these legendary soundtracks and more.

It’s always a good night when superstar violinist Nicola Benedetti joins the RSNO. We are delighted to welcome her back for the Scottish premiere of a flamboyant, brand-new concerto written specially for her by composer Mark Simpson. You don’t want to miss it!

The RSNO join forces with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra for a stunning concert of music by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and Bernard Herrmann before a finale of Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from the iconic film West Side Story – an evening that is sure to appeal to jazz and classical fans alike.

For the gamer: Video Games Music in Concert

Both teenage and adult-gamers are sure to love this epic night of music from their favourite games! Performed by an 80-piece orchestra and conducted by film and video game composer Eímear Noone, this thrilling concert will feature music from Civilisation VI, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy and lots more.
