Vaughan Williams’ Sinfonia Antartica began as a film score, and in it you’ll hear icesheets, snowstorms and even a few penguins. But with Sir Andrew Davis conducting this vast symphonic panorama, it won’t just be the cold that makes you shiver! First, though, he travels to more temperate climes with Elgar’s hugely popular Enigma Variations, plus something brand new from Jasper Dommett: a young British composer with a voice that’s entirely their own.
