Enjoy a special concert from the RSNO’s community orchestra, All Together Now, before the RSNO’s evening performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. This short concert will include the world premiere of a brand-new commission for the group by Lisa Robertson, We Gather in the Shadow of the Storm.
Hannah Rarity, a leading figure in the Scottish folk scene, will join All Together Now for their performance of Caledonia. Since winning the prestigious BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year award in 2018, Hannah has consistently impressed audiences and critics alike with her hauntingly beautiful voice and, increasingly, her poignant self-penned songs.
All Together Now was created to enable amateur musicians of all ages to play together. They rehearse once a month, receiving coaching from RSNO musicians and conductor Robert Baxter. This concert will showcase the music our community orchestra has been working on this term.
Entry to the pre-concert showcase is free to RSNO ticket-holders attending the evening performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. Book your concert tickets here.
Customers wishing only to attend the All Together Now Showcase should book tickets here. Tickets are free, but please note, booking fees will apply.
