International Summer School for Composers Showcase
Experience eight world premieres from the composers taking part in this year’s International Summer School for Composers, presented in partnership by The Cumnock Tryst and the RSNO. The participants will have spent an intensive week at Dumfries House, mentored by leading composers Sir James MacMillan and Brett Dean and working closely with eight musicians from the RSNO.
This concert offers the first hearing of their new pieces, written for an octet of clarinet, bassoon, horn, two violins, viola, cello and double bass.
