Royal Scottish National Orchestra Principal Trumpet Christopher Hart studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff and at the Royal Academy of Music in London before joining the RSNO in 2016.

Alongside his work with the RSNO, Hart has since performed all over the world as Guest Principal Trumpet with the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and the BBC Symphony Orchestra under such esteemed conductors as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir Mark Elder, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vladimir Jurowski, Sakari Oramo and Gianandrea Noseda.
