The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) is grateful to Samy Rachid for stepping in to replace Anna Sułkowska-Migoń who is no longer able to conduct Pictures at an Exhibition in December as she will be on maternity leave. The concert programmes remain unchanged with Rachid conducting works by Bacewicz, Chopin, Thea Musgrave and Mussorgsky in Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Samy Rachid is a sought-after international conductor, this season alone he makes his debut with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Houston Symphony, Ulster Orchestra and Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
