Ballet of the Blue goes below the wings of gannets and guillemots to explore the territory of the friendly giant, the basking shark, meeting colourful kelp, fish, lobsters and other creatures along its way.

Set to Gershwin’s ever-popular Rhapsody in Blue recorded by pianist Ethan Loch and the RSNO, this short animated film was originally created for the RSNO’s Schools Programme, Sounds of the Deep, for primary 4 to primary 7 pupils.
