Tuesday 6 & Wednesday 7 September 2022: Royal Albert Hall, London

Members of the RSNO Circle, Chair Patrons, Conductors Circle members, and corporate supporters attended the RSNO’s two performances at the BBC Proms and an exclusive reception with RSNO Chair Dame Sue Bruce and RSNO Chief Executive Alistair Mackie.

RSNO Music Director Thomas Søndergård and the Orchestra were joined by Scotland’s own Nicola Benedetti for a show-stopping concert, featuring music by Wynton Marsalis, Bernstein and Britten.

Saturday 11 June 2022: Prestonfield House, Edinburgh

With music from the Orchestra and the RSNO Big Band, a sumptuous three course meal, a thrilling Silent Auction, exciting games and dancing until 1am, a fantastic time was had by all.

The Ball succeeded in raising almost £100,000 toward the work of the RSNO. This incredible outcome will help the Orchestra to continue its work bringing world-class music to communities across Scotland.

Celebrating the RSNO’s return to a full 19-concert Season, the launch featured talks with RSNO Chief Executive Alistair Mackie and RSNO Music Director Thomas Søndergård, hosted by Classic FM’s Anne-Marie Minhall alongside live music and a drinks reception.
