RSNO Major Donors are an inspirational group of people who contribute considerable philanthropic gifts to the Orchestra on an annual basis, allowing us to realise the most ambitious goals of the Orchestra, extending our reach across Scotland and inspiring audiences with outstanding musical experiences across the world.
Major Donors receive an exceptional level of access to the RSNO, including the opportunity to build personal relationships with our Music Director, Chief Executive, Trustees and, of course, the musicians. A series of private events offers unique experiences and an insight into our work, bringing our supporters further into the RSNO family.
The Conductors' Circle is a vital part of our fundraising programme and it underpins the Orchestra’s central programme of activity, from outstanding performances throughout our concert Season to the delivery of transformational learning & education programmes in communities across the length and breadth of the country.
The Conductors' Circle promotes a very close and intimate association of the highest level between donors and the RSNO's Artistic Team. Lead by the RSNO Music Director Thomas Søndergård, with RSNO Principal Guest Conductor Elim Cham and the many guest conductors and artists that grace the platform with the RSNO, we offer members of the Conductors' Circle a deeper and more varied insight into what it is like to be part of the RSNO artistic family through a range of exclusive events. The minimum annual gift level for Major Donors is £10,000.
RSNO Benefactors are beacons of philanthropic inspiration, providing truly transformative financial support to the Orchestra that enables us to build and deliver long-term strategic plans. Benefactors share the RSNO’s vision for orchestral music and work with us to drive the organisation forward, helping us to realise our future plans and ambitions. Benefactors provide exceptional support to the RSNO at an annual level above £25,000.
