I joined the RSNO in March 2003.

Whitley Bay, near Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Where did you study?
Royal Academy of Music, in London.

What do you enjoy most about being in the RSNO?
The music of Russian composers such as Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Stravinsky

Tell us your favourite RSNO story/memory so far.
So many highlights! Shostakovich 7 at the BBC Proms with Lazarev, Belshazzar’s Feast in the Caird Hall with Richard Hickox, and I’ll never get tired of playing the percussion part in The Snowman.
