Notes from Scotland is a composing scheme for young composers aged 14-18 years living in Scotland.

Through the project, young composers will develop their composing talent, learn new skills and meet other young musicians and composers.

This year we are delighted that Notes from Scotland will be run in partnership with Dunedin Consort and will include access to period instruments and specialist tuition in how to write for those instruments.

Notes from Scotland applications for 2023:24 are now closed. Please check back in Summer 2024 for information on the next intake.
