Attend an RSNO Concert
Introduce your secondary school class to the magic of live symphonic sound by attending an RSNO Season concert in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee or Aberdeen. Tickets for school pupils are £6 each for our Season concerts*, with accompanying adults going free**.
School groups are also welcome at our lunchtime Symphony, Soup and a Sandwich concerts (please note, lunch is not included in the price of the concert ticket), our Discovery Events and our Sunday afternoon Chamber Series.

* = Tickets for school pupils for RSNO Festive and Film music concerts are priced at 50% off full price tickets.
** = one free accompanying adult per 10 pupils (or part of 10 thereof).
The RSNO accepts student placements from schools, colleges and universities across the UK. Placements are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Applications for Work Experience are taken throughout the academic year.
RSNO Takeover is a two-day intensive work experience, open to anyone aged 16–18 years at the time of the event and living in Scotland. Applications are invited from any young person interested in a career in the arts or creative industries, regardless of whether you play a musical instrument or not.
Applications for Takeover 2019 will open in September 2018.
14–18 Year Olds
The RSNO has a limited number of free tickets available for 14–18 year olds who are interested in classical music to allow them to attend RSNO concerts with friends.
Available for all RSNO Season concerts in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee, 14–18 year olds can book tickets for up to two concerts per Season.
Proof of age will be required before tickets can be issued so please bring this with you on the evening of the performance.
Please note there are a limited number of 14–18 tickets available per performance. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
